Common Applications

Zoning Permits

Zoning permits are required for all construction, repairs, alterations, and demolitions. A zoning permit is generally required if a county building permit is required. Zoning permits expire if construction lapses for six months. A certificate of zoning compliance will be issued upon project completion. All zoning permits require inspections. It is the responsibility of the applicant to call the Zoning Administrator to schedule inspections.

Site Plans

All commercial, industrial, and institutional development activities require site plan approval. It is highly recommended that developers and their selected architects/engineers work with the Zoning Department during design phases to ensure developments comply with the Zoning Ordinance.
