- Mackinaw City Municipal Energy Audit - Through a Rebuild Michigan Partnership, the Village completed an energy evaluation and a detailed energy audit of our municipal buildings. Read the initial energy evaluation and apply some of what we learned in your own home or commercial building.
New Tree Lights - You may have noticed that our tree lights are being replaced on East Central Avenue. We are replacing the old incandescent lights with new LED technology. These new lights use only 10% of the energy compared to the old lights and we won't have to change any bulbs. Our ten year cost savings are estimated to be over $25,000.
