Mackinaw City Police Department
The Mackinaw City Police Department has 5 full time officers, 2 part time officers, and a parking enforcement officer serving our Village. We coordinate many community safety programs including D.A.R.E., T.E.A.M. (Teaching Educating And Mentoring), bicycle patrols, snowmobile and hunter safety, bicycle safety, and Shop with a Hero. Since our office is not staffed 24 hours each day, please contact 911 to contact any officer for any reason.

- Firing range is open for residents. An appointment can be made to use the range with a Range Master present. Call 436-7861.
The Mackinaw City Police Department is proud to participate in Project Childsafe which offers gun locks free of charge for safety in the home. Anyone interested in obtaining gun locks may stop in at the department during normal business hours
