Whether you prefer miniature golf or real golf Mackinaw has options. For real golf there is The Mackinaw Club which is just south of town. It is an 18-hole, par 72 course with beautiful vistas designed by Jerry Matthews in 1996. Wilderness Golf Course is Mackinaw’s oldest course, since 1963, just 6 miles west of town and has a 9-hole par 35 course. Both rent clubs, pulling carts, and riding carts. Miniature golfing is very popular with families and there two courses in the downtown district.
